總體結構

本課程內容分為以下3個主要部分:

1. 導論
2. 建模與模擬工具
3. 建模與模擬案例學習

第一部分介紹本課程主題,為時一周。第二部分系統講授本課程內容,相關作業將涉及多種課題,在下文細述。第三部分將由研究學者介紹模擬工具在解決複雜問題中最前沿的應用方式。



評分

本課程成績由前半學期的作業成績加上學期大作業組成。大作業由學生與任課講師及指導教師合作完成。




OVERALL ORGANIZATION

The subject is divided into three main sections:

1. Introduction
2. Modeling and Simulation Tools
3. Case Studies of Modeling and Simulation

The first will last just a week, and will introduce the subject. The second will include structured instruction with accompanying homework assignments on a variety of topics as described below. The third will involve presentations by individual researchers describing cutting-edge use of the tools described to solve complex problems.



GRADING

Grading will be based on homework assignments in the first half, and a term project to be conducted by students in collaboration with faculty Instructors and Mentors.
